1,428 new COVID-19 cases, 52 additional deaths reported in Mass. – WCVB Boston
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has released the latest COVID-19 case numbers for the state.
BOSTON —The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported an additional 1,428 confirmed COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 550,302 since the start of the pandemic.
State health officials also added 52 confirmed COVID-19-related deaths to the state’s total, which is now 15,796.
As of Sunday, a total of 2,049,130 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been shipped to the state, of which 1,736,477 — or 84.7% — have been administered. So far, 531,258 people have received both…
