BOSTON (WWLP) – Health officials are already planning out how a vaccination will be approached within the Commonwealth.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) asked states to submit their vaccine distribution plans by November 1.
Massachusetts unveiled a draft version of how they plan to distribute the vaccine on Saturday. According to the draft, the state expects to receive between 20,000 and 60,000 doses of the vaccine in the first phase.

DES MOINES, Iowa —Iowa reports 17 counties with high coronavirus positivity rates as the state continues to set records for hospitalizations.
The Iowa Department of Public Health on Monday reported 677 new coronavirus cases and two additional deaths.
As of 10 a.m., the health department reported 116,452 total cases, 87,984 total recoveries and 1,636 total deaths since the pandemic began. The state reported 115,775 total cases and 1,634 total deaths 24 hours earlier.
